Last night, Helsinki turned into a boarding port for Visions of Atlantis, who arrived in Finland for the very first time as headliners, with two stops: Tampere and the capital. Expectations were high, and the response did not disappoint: the audience even included fans who had traveled from different cities and even other countries to witness this special occasion.

From the very first note, the band unleashed the theatricality they are known for — a concept of symphonic pirate metal that is not only heard but truly lived. Clémentine Delauney, with her commanding soprano range, led the crew alongside Michele Guaitoli, inviting everyone present to become corsairs for a night. There were jumps, laughter, battle cries, and of course, the now-classic challenge of “rowing” while sitting on the venue floor. The result was a flawless choreography, which the band praised as “the best one in the world.” The Finns rose to the occasion with remarkable synchronicity, joyfully following every command from the captains of the ship.

One of the most powerful moments came when Clémentine performed “Underwater” solo. Before singing, she delivered a heartfelt speech, reminding the audience that there is always someone or something to hold on to when we feel like we’re drowning — whether it’s a favorite person, a song, or a memory. Her performance gave everyone goosebumps and was undoubtedly one of the emotional peaks of the night.

The Kulttuuritehdas Korjaamo provided the perfect setting for the experience: the sound was spectacular, and the atmosphere was warm and intimate — ideal for a Thursday night. Visions of Atlantis didn’t just deliver a concert; they offered a true high-seas adventure that left the audience smiling, sweaty, and eager for more.

We’re sharing the video of “Armada”, the cheered-up closing track that ended the night with sky-high energy — the perfect choice to send everyone off with a smile on their faces, feeling as though we had conquered the entire world alongside the Visions of Atlantis crew.
